Leah is accepting a limited amount of new clients.

I believe that art fills in the blanks where words do not suffice or are too painful to share. Art Therapy presents a unique opportunity to lessen some of the pressure you may feel talking about personal or painful experiences, by projecting some of those feelings into the artmaking and allowing the conversation to flow naturally from there.

I specialize in and am passionate about helping women who have found themselves in unhealthy relationship dynamics, cycles of domestic violence, or abusive relationships. I also work with individuals experiencing anxiety, neurodivergence (including OCD, ADHD, and Autism) sensory sensitivities, mutism/selective mutism, interpersonal and boundary issues, codependency, people-pleasing and trauma, as well as helping to identify and ask for needs to be met.  Additionally, I enjoy working with children and adolescents, typically ages 10 and older. I find therapy is most effective when a client can show up motivated and ready to do the work, whatever that might look like for them.

I earned my master’s degree in Art Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler Graduate School, and am a Licensed Clinical Counselor in the state of Minnesota.
