Insurance and Fees

Our therapists work with clients of all brains, bodies, backgrounds, genders, sexual identities, cultural identities, neurodivergent types, abilities and needs.

We see children ages 8-18, emerging/young adults, and adults.

In-Network Insurance Accepted:

MA (Medicaid)

UCare

We will ask for your insurance information prior to our first meeting to ensure your eligibility and to determine if there are any co-pays or deductible amounts that will need to be paid.

Art Therapy of MN encourages you to contact your insurance provider to confirm your in-network benefits or to ascertain whether a prior authorization is required for services. It is ultimately your responsibility to understand your benefit plan and coverage; any quotes of coverage are merely an estimate and NOT a guarantee of coverage or payment.

Please confirm that your particular provider is covered by your plan when you make your first appointment.

Out-of-Network:

If your plan is not listed above, please call the number on the back of your insurance card to check your out-of-network benefits.

If you decide to continue with out-of-network services, please inform your provider so Art Therapy of MN is able to submit an out-of-network claim on your behalf with your insurance provider. We can also provide receipts for services for you to submit to your insurance plan or your HSA/HRA accounts administrator.

Out-of-Pocket Fees for Service:

We accept credit cards or an HSA for our out-of- pocket fees. Session fees are processed through a credit card on file post-session.

Meghan Laird: $125 out-of-pocket fee for each 60-minute session

Leah Royseth: $105 out-of-pocket fee for each 60-minute session

Alden Lebsack: $75 out-of-pocket fee for each 60-minute session

Breanna Bisek: $75 out-of-pocket fee for each 60-minute session

A few sliding scale fee placements are offered, please inquire if this is something you are interested in. Therapy is an investment in you and your children’s well being, and it can get expensive for families. We reserve a limited number of spaces to accommodate clients at a reduced rate/sliding scale fee when they are facing serious economic hardship. We usually have a waiting list for these spots.

No Show/Late Cancellation Fee:

No-show/late cancel fee will be applied only if you cancel less than 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Inclement weather, unique situations and serious illness are taken into account and should be discussed with your therapist.

Your therapist will share with you their individual late cancellation fee. This fee will be charged to your credit card on file if you do not cancel or reschedule within 24 hours prior to your appointment.
