Katherine is accepting new clients.

I am a licensed clinical counselor and a board certified art therapist. I am queer and neurodivergent, and I embrace self-diagnosis within systems that are inaccessible to many.

I work with pre-teens/teens (10+), young adults, and adults. I consider myself to be an eclectic therapist, and I love to incorporate expressive art interventions with varied person-centered, strength-based, feminist techniques to support my clients’ diverse needs.

I believe wholeheartedly in the power of therapeutic support and individual healing through self-compassion, empathy, growth, understanding, and creativity. I acknowledge the challenges posed by existing systems of power, and I am passionate about providing the best possible care for my clients. I actively seek ways to learn and incorporate decolonizing and accessibility practices in my work.

When not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my spouse and loved ones, dabbling in various art projects, and entertaining my two gremlin cats. I also enjoy continued attempts at gardening, exploring different tabletop and video games, and helping my partner create the ultimate homemade pizza.

I earned my master’s degree in Art Therapy and Counseling from Ursuline College in Cleveland, Ohio. I am a board certified registered art therapist (ATR-BC) and a licensed clinical counselor (LPCC) in the state of Ohio, and in-process of being licensed in MN. I am supervised by Angela (Pitton) Abdo, LPCC.
